Welding Services

Welding Services is a fabrication or sculptural process that joins material together, usually metals or thermoplastics, by causing coalescence. It is often done by melting the work pieces and adding filler materials this will form a pool of molten materials (known as the weld pool) this will then cool and become a strong joint. When pressure is used in conjunction with heat, or even by itself, to produce the weld. This is used in contrast with soldering and brazing, which means that you have to melt the materials lower that the melting point between the work pieces to form a bond between them, this has to be done without melting the work pieces. Many different sources of energy can be used when you are welding, including a gas flame, an electric arc, a laser, an electron beam, friction, and ultrasound. Welding in generally an industrial process however it can be done in a number of different environments, including under water, open air and in outer space. Welding will always remain dangerous regardless of the location, and precautions should always be taken to avoid burns, electric shocks, eye damage, poisonous fumes and over exposure to ultraviolet light.
